MoMA’s upcoming exhibit is must-see for those entertained by the history of toy design. Not only does it take on an ambitious survey of 20th century design for children, but it brings together areas underrepresented in design history, including school architecture, clothing, playgrounds, toys and games, children’s hospitals and safety equipment, nurseries, furniture, and books. Century of the Child: Growing by Design, 1900–2000 will run July 29th-November 5th. Details can be found at MoMA.org.
