To get tweens and teens involved in game night, tell them you’re playing a game inspired by gossip. Telestrations is the visual equivalent of the classic game of “telephone.” The sketching gets its excitement from everyone’s attempts at “art.” The game starts with a secret word that is passed from player to player. As the word is sketched, interpreted, and sketched again, it undergoes a series of transformations that are even funnier than the old-school version. In the end, game night lends an important lesson in how stories evolve as they pass from person to person.
