As a first time mom who’s just about ready to dive into the world of solids, this Toddler Cutlery set caught my attention. Designed for babes aged 6 months to toddlers around 2 years old, the chubby fork, knife and spoon are geared towards the way tiny tykes hold things. Filling the entire hand makes it easier for a child to control his or her actions, allowing them to (quite literally) grasp the concept sooner. Unfortunately, the steep price isn’t as easy to swallow. $42
